DON'T BECOME A CANCER STATISTIC

Cancer Check Labs introduces a breakthrough blood test to lead the way to early detection.

Cancer Check Labs’ revolutionary blood screening test can detect cancer early.

Today's screening methods have many limitations as they do not screen for all cancer types, the tests can be very invasive, and they often need to be able to image a grown later-stage tumor.
Cancer Check Labs has developed a simple blood draw that can detect solid cancerous tumors at the earliest of stages. Early cancer detection provides the highest probability of a cure.

  • How It Works

    1) Blood Sample Collection

The blood test starts with a professional phlebotomist drawing 40 ml of blood (about 4-5 vials).

    2) Our Lab Filters Your Blood

Your blood sample is sent and filtered in our lab using leading technologies that can isolate tumor cells with our proprietary workflow.

    3) Reviewing the Results

A pathologist reviews the samples and data to determine whether or not tumor cells were detected and the probable source. Every customer receives a board-certified pathology report for their screening.

  • Why It Works

Tumors Shed Cells: Tumors begin shedding tumor cells that circulate in your bloodstream, known as circulating tumor cells (CTCs), potentially as early as they are born, well before the tumor has grown enough to be visible in imaging.

Finding CTCs Indicates A Problem: CTCs begin shedding from a tumor into your bloodstream as the tumor attempts to spread throughout your body. Hence, the earlier we can detect the CTCs, the earlier we can try to stop the cancer in its tracks.

Broad Spectrum Screening: Cancer Check uses specialized filtration processes that can extract atypical, potentially malignant tumor cells, from the blood at unprecedented scale. Because we filter the cells based on their physical and mechanical properties, we can capture tumor cells from any type or subtype of solid tumor as they all share similar physical and mechanical properties.

  • Cancer Types

Cancer Check works because we can capture whole atypical circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from your blood draw. The CTCs can be examined by a licensed physician and the probable tissue of origin can be identified. See image carousel for examples of the 200+ solid tumor types and subtypes that could be detected.

  • Frequently Asked Questions

Does my doctor need to prescribe Cancer Check?

Your doctor may prescribe it, however, it is unnecessary because Cancer Check has a standing physician’s order in all 50 states and Washington DC, however, please note that we cannot currently test in Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, & Maryland.

What if I'm positive and need more information?

We recommend discussing the next steps with your primary care provider. For anyone who has a positive screening result, we will provide a second, free test within 12 months of your initial purchase.

When should I take the Cancer Check test again if I receive a negative result?

We always suggest following-up with your primary care physician to discuss when retesting makes the most sense for you.

What does it mean if I receive a positive result?

Atypical circulating tumor cells (CTCs) were identified in your blood.

What does it mean if I receive a negative result?

No atypical circulating tumor cells (CTCs) were identified in your blood.

How do I request my Cancer Check test result report?

You will be notified via email from results@cancerchecklabs.com when your results are available.  A link to an encrypted url containing the report is provided to you with your results. If your doctor ordered the test for you, please discuss how you will receive your results with them.

When will Cancer Check test results be available?

The results are available within 10-14 business days of your blood draw.

How much blood is drawn for the Cancer Check test?

Approximately 3 tablespoons (or about 40 mL) of blood is drawn in four to five tubes.

Do I need to fast before the blood draw?

No. We do recommend you stay well hydrated prior to the test as that makes any blood draw easier.

What happens to my blood sample when it is received at the Cancer Check Lab?

The blood sample is transported to our processing lab, where it is filtered for a pathologist to detect the presence or absence of circulating tumor cells (CTCs).

How do I schedule my phlebotomy appointment?

Phlebotomy scheduling information is included in your test kit. Once you receive your kit, you can schedule your appointment. If you need assistance, email us at: hello@cancerchecklabs.com or call (214) 301-0351.

Is the Cancer Check Lab test covered by insurance?

The test is not covered by insurance at this time.

Can I use my HSA/FSA to pay for the Cancer Check test?

Check with your FSA or HSA administrator or insurance provider to determine eligibility. If you received a Promo code from an affiliate or ambassador you may not use your FSA or HSA.

Is the blood draw cost included with purchasing the Cancer Check test?

The blood draw is included in the price of the test when using one of our trusted partners.

How are you different from other "cancer detection tests"?

Full-body MRI scans can only see tumors that are big enough to be imaged: they cannot detect at the cellular level like Cancer Check. Other biomarker tests use scraps of cells or limited signals to extrapolate a result, often making it error-prone. Those tests also often only screen for a single type of cancer. At Cancer Check, we don’t like to guess. We detect and capture whole tumor cells that can be visually inspected by a licensed physician to render a result. Further, we capture circulating tumor cells from any type of solid tumor (breast, lung, prostate, liver, brain, etc.) making it a broad-spectrum pan-cancer screen.

Is the Cancer Check test available outside the US?

The test is only available in the US at this time.

What cancers does Cancer Check test detect?

The Cancer check test is a multi-cancer early detection test that screens for more than 200 types of cancer.

I don't think I'm at risk for cancer and I don't have a family history. Is Cancer Check really for me?

Cancer risk increases for everyone as they age regardless of family history. Only around 10% of cancer risk is inherited.

Who can take the Cancer Check multi-cancer early detection test?

Generally, the test is available to everyone. At the time of the test, however, we do require that you meet the following criteria:
    1. Over 21 years of age
    2. Over 90 pounds
